1. Was away for an overseas trip for about 2 months. Sure I had fun.
2. The very next day I returned I bought an iMac, the one I wrote about in my previous post. Last few weeks I have been busy tweaking it, creating cards, organizing music and photos, creating dvds and enjoying all an iMac has to offer. This is probably one of the best investments I have made in the recent past.
Call it my ignorance (and please pardon it), I was not aware that Apple is releasing Mac OS X’s next version Leopard when I went to buy it. Surely I was disappointed when I learned that Leopard will be released in another two weeks time, needless to say I had Tiger on my iMac.
I called up Apple support when I realized what an absolute sin I had committed and was delighted to hear from one of the ‘friendly’ csr’s that Apple is offering Mac os X v10.5 Leopard installs to all the qualifying Macintosh computers purchased between 1st October 2007 and 29th December 2007 at a nominal cost of AUD$12.95 (shipping and handling charges). Can’t wait to get my hands on it.
